Day 1: We’re off to Wisconsin stopping for an included morning coffee break. We will continue across Wisconsin and Illinois (lunch on own en-route) to our overnight in Mishawaka, Indiana. This evening we will get better acquainted with each other at our included Welcome Dinner. (CS, D)

Day 2: This morning, after a very delightful included breakfast, we’ll head east into Ohio for a morning break and lunch stop, on own. A break will be taken this afternoon as we cross Pennsylvania before arriving in Clearfield, Pa. for our overnight stay. You will be free to have dinner on own. (B)

Day 3: While luggage is being loaded onto the coach, breakfast is again included. This morning, we cross remaining Pennsylvania and enter New Jersey. After a morning break, we arrive the “Big Apple”, New York City, with a lunch break, on own, in the Financial District. A guided tour of New York is on our schedule this afternoon enjoying sites we have always heard about including Wall Street, the Theatre District, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, the 9/11 Memorial plus much more. A highlight awaits us as we have time to browse times Square, finding countless choices where to dine before taking reserved seats for our Broadway Show. Departing Times Square, we’ll head to our hotel for the next 2 nights and get checked in and squared away. (Show to be announced!) (B)

Day 4: Our included breakfast buffet is most enjoyable and a great start to our day. We board our coach and “people watch” the morning hustle and bustle heading down to the Battery of Manhattan Island to board a ferry to Statue of Liberty Island and also to Ellis Island National Monument, now a memorial to the millions of immigrants who came thru Ellis on their way to their new homeland. Returning to Manhattan, we re-board our coach and return to our hotel. After freshening up a little, we gather together for an included dinner having time to get better acquainted with each other. Day 5: An included breakfast is again ours to enjoy while luggage is being loaded for departure. Heading south, we will meet our guide in Philadelphia for a memorable tour of this historic city. During the morning tour, we will visit Independence Square to include Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. A guided tour of this “City of Brotherly Love” is also included. Our evening will be spent here so you can relax and have dinner on own. (B)

Day 6: After an included breakfast, we’ll head south stopping for a morning break before arriving in our Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C. First stop: Mount Vernon, home of George and Martha Washington. We will have a mansion tour. The estate can be explored, taking lunch, on own stopping and shopping in their gift and museum stores. An added highlight today will be a visit to Arlington National Cemetery for the changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We will check into our hotel for the next 3 nights. Your evening will be free to have dinner on your own. (B)

Day 7: Breakfast is included then off we go for a full-day tour with a Washington D.C. guide. Highlights will include various National Memorials and Monuments, Embassy Row and a drive by your National Cathedral, and much more. We will stop for dinner on your own and continue to a guided evening Illumination Tour. (B)

Day 8: An included breakfast starts our day then you will be free to explore the Smithsonian Museums, of your choice. The motorcoach will make scheduled shuttles between the Museums to facilitate movement around the National Mall. Later this afternoon, we’ll return to the hotel when the Museums close and enjoy an included dinner together. (B, D)

Day 9: Breakfast is again included before we say “Farewell” to Washington! We will travel north through Baltimore taking a comfort stop to arrive in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We will spend the rest of our day here taking in the Plain & Fancy General Store, enjoying an included German all-you-can-eat family-style fabulous meal. A step-on guide will join us to show us this beautiful farm area with a large Old Order Amish population. We will make fun stops to admire hand-made quilts and many other items and meet some local folks. After checking into a local Inn, you will have time to relax and have dinner on your own. (B, L)

Day 10: An included breakfast starts our day and then we head to Hershey, Pa., to enjoy our “Chocolate Tour!” You will love this quaint town started by Milton & Kitty Hershey. Buying a little candy is definitely the thing to do! We travel through the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania into Ohio continuing to the Cleveland area for our overnight. After checking into our hotel, your evening will be free to have dinner on own. (B)

Day 11: This morning, after included breakfast, we’ll continue west across Indiana taking a morning and lunch break, on own. Our last evening will be in the Chicago area gathering for an included Farewell Dinner. (B, D)

Day 12: After one of our very most favorite included breakfasts, we continue west to Illinois, into Wisconsin making appropriate stops. Later this afternoon, we arrive back in the Twin Cities. Hopefully, you have many pictures and many memories of the “Big Apple”, New York City, Philadelphia, our Nation’s Capital, Washington D.C., Mount Vernon, the country lanes of Lancaster County, Hershey’s Chocolate World and the Appalachian Mountains!
