Day 1:  We’ll head to Wisconsin and stop for an included morning coffee and roll break. Our travels take us across Wisconsin stopping in Madison for a lunch break on your own. This afternoon we’ll take a break prior to arriving in Champaign, Illinois for our overnight. En-route to our hotel, we’ll stop for an included Welcome Dinner. (CS, D)

Day 2:  We start the morning with an included breakfast and then head south across Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas to Tunica, Mississippi. Here we’ll check into our hotel/casino for the night. The evening will be free to enjoy the gaming action and have dinner on your own. Each passenger will get a coupon good for your choice of included dinner this evening or breakfast tomorrow morning.  (Choice D/B)

Day 3:  Following our included breakfast we’ll head south stopping for a morning break, lunch stop on your own and an afternoon break en-route to Cajun Capital Lafayette, Louisiana.  An included Cajun dinner will be enjoyed by all this evening. (B) (D)

Day 4:  A step-on guide will join us this morning after included breakfast and take us to churches and parks of Cajun interest.  Departing Lafayette we head east to the “Crescent City” New Orleans for a 4-night stay. Breakfast will be included each morning.  We have restaurants close by for dinner, on own, tonight. (B)

Day 5: There will be three very exciting days of touring New Orleans and the surrounding area starting this morning with a step-on guide to whisk us around the districts showing off her city.  We will have a short visit to the French Quarter today for lunch, on own, before boarding for a narrated Mississippi River cruise on the sternwheeler “Natchez”.  You will see sites of interest plus no doubt get up close to ships heading into docks unloading products.  We’ll return to our hotel to relax and have dinner on own. Day 6:  Breakfast is again included then we’ll visit a historic Mississippi River Road plantation of yesteryear, “Destrehan”, very lovingly restored for us to learn their period of life.  A costumed guide will show us the plantation.   A Swamp tour follows this afternoon, captivating our curiosity about finding alligators.  This is a super fun experience!  A Cajun dinner is included tonight. Day 7:  Off we go, after included breakfast, to Magazine Street, site of the National World War 11 Museum.  Their spectacular multi-media film is ours to enjoy…. a most amazing production. There are numerous buildings and exhibits of which to partake.  Their gift shop and bookstore are very complete.  We get back on the coach heading again to the French Quarter for the remainder of our day.   (B)

Day 8:  Following our included breakfast and luggage loaded onto the coach, we’re off north stopping for a morning break, lunch stop on your own and an afternoon break as we cross Mississippi to our overnight in Tunica and check into our hotel/casino for the night. The evening will again be free to enjoy the gaming action and have a food option:  dinner buffet tonight or breakfast buffet in the morning. (B) (D or B option)

Day 9:  Following breakfast, we’ll head north across Arkansas and into the St. Louis area. Here we’ll stop for lunch on your own prior to entering Illinois. This afternoon we’ll take a break en-route to our overnight in Urbana, Illinois. A Farewell Dinner will be included and the evening free to relax.  (D)

Day 10:   We’ll enjoy our included breakfast, then head north back across Illinois and Wisconsin to the Twin Cities. We’ll make appropriate stops and arrive home at about 6:00 pm filled with wonderful memories of  exciting Cajun Lafayette and “Crescent City” New Orleans..  (B)
