Meet Tourco Travel rep at Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport to handle your check in for our non-stop flight to Vancouver, British Columbia. (PASSPORT REQUIRED) A Norwegian Cruise rep will be awaiting our arrival and escort us to a waiting motorcoach after your luggage is collected. Welcome to beautiful Vancouver! Our destination is “Canada Place Pier” to be checked in and board the “Norwegian Jewel” Ship for our 7 day Alaska Voyage! After getting welcomed aboard and finding your stateroom, you will meet your stateroom captain and he/she will answer all your questions and explain your room amenities. A stroll around the “Jewel” will open your eyes to all she has to offer on your Alaska Cruise. A “Life Boat” drill is always mandatory and you disembark at 4:00 pm with plenty of time to enjoy your first dinner on board. Enjoy your evening!
After a breakfast option of being served in a lovely dining room or at the buffet, you’ll be ready to plan your day at sea. A ship newsletter is delivered to your stateroom each day so you can scan all the many events your ship has to offer. We will be cruising beautiful scenery part of our day as we enter the Pacific and head for the Inside Passage or Lynn Canal towards our first Port-of-Call, Ketchikan in the Eastern Rain Forest of Alaska. You will keep busy on this first day at sea.
The “Jewel” docks at 7:00 am in Ketchikan. You may have a “Shore Adventure” planned or
Cruising the Inside Passage during the night, we arrive in Alaska’s Capital City of Juneau at 11:00 am.Same options apply. You will be advised later on “Shore Adventures”. We depart at 9:00 pm.
Historic Skagway…the “Gold Rush City of 1898” unfolds before you today with lots of things to do. The town is charming and shopping is great! The Ship will be docked by 8:00 am. The Visitor’s Center has a most interesting free movie with real photo footage about the overnight jump start from a few to thousands because of “gold”. You can book an “Adventure” here as well. The ship departs at 8:00 pm.

Last day of cruising…enjoy all the onboard activities. Prepare for departure from
Docking in the port of Seward, Alaska, will begin at 5:00 am. Disembarking of passengers is very organized. On the pier, our luggage is taken care of and we board our first train segment and can relax and watch the inlets and glaciers pass us by. At our arrival in Anchorage, our Norwegian Cruise Manager will direct us from the rail station to our waiting coach and on to our hotel for the evening..

Our “Tundra Wilderness” Tour will take us to the pristine 6 million acres Denali National Park on the only road going in and out on an 8-hour awesome journey. Along the way, enjoy a fully narrated ride learning about the flora and fauna of the Park while looking for wildlife that roams freely and calls this Park “home”. A box lunch is included. Our third train ride awaits us for the shorter ride to Fairbanks later today. Upon arrival at the train station, our driver and coach will be waiting to take us to our hotel for our 2-night stay.
After breakfast on own, we board our coach and look ahead to a fun day of touring. The historic Gold Dredge #8 is included in a tour and gold panning. We reboard our coach for a city tour of Fairbanks. We’ll learn about the Alaska state sport of dog mushing with a stop at a local Iditarod sled dog kennel. You’ll be amazed to learn about this fascinating and popular sport. This evening we will enjoy an included Alaskan Salmon Bake as a Farewell Dinner.
Prepare for departure from hotel to Fairbanks’s International Airport for your return flight to Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport. Tourco vans will be waiting for your arrival.
